Like many people who have led big lives, I had a painful period in my life that lasted a couple of years - eventually I climbed out and started looking at the world with newer eyes. I was in a bookstore one night looking for a picture book that I could leave on the table and browse through every once in a while - I wanted beautiful, amazing, inspiring images to raise my spirits in an instant.

I couldn’t find what I wanted.

I had the inspired idea that I could create it - and better than a book it could be a digital photo frame file that would splash awesome pictures at me everytime I was in it’s vicinity! I went out and bought a digital photo frame that very night!

It took 6 or so months for me to figure out how to make it work and then work in the time to create the files between the rest of my life, but it has been so worth it. I love the pictures, I love the lift they give me, and I truly appreciate all the folks at Flickr who share their pictures with the world. They take much better pictures than I do.
